Our client, a multi-national and growing pharmaceutical company is currently recruiting for a Medical Advisor to join their professional team based in Midrand. The main purpose of this position is to provide thorough up-to-date medical, clinical and relevant commercial expertise to drive message delivery to key influencers and stakeholders, and to collaborate with country, regional and global team members in the execution of relevant clinical activities in assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
• Disease portfolio: Cardiovascular & Metabolic and Pain
• Medical affairs Strategy and Operations Participates in the development of strategic plans in collaboration with other teams
• Medical Information and Communication
• Marketing and to drive the success of the company product designs
• Initiates, conducts and publishes local Phase IV/PMS studies in the CPO to help facilitate market access and adoption within country
• Responsible for internal medical operational budget and external trial budget

Requirements:
• Minimum MBCHB or PHD degree in Health Sciences
• Extensive experience in an execution or management role in the pharmaceutical industry
• Scientific/medical research experience with demonstrated record of scientific /medical publication
• Preferred previous industry experience
