Duties:
? Answer telephone calls; verify information to service providers and members
? Determine eligibility by comparing client information to requirements
? Establish policies by entering client information and confirming pricing
? Inform service providers and clients by explaining procedures and protocols
? Answer questions/queries telephonically and provide brochure information by e-mail/facsimile
? Maintain communication equipment by reporting problems
? Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, recommending improvements
? Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions as needed
? Complete call logs
? Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor from time to time

Requirements:
? A minimum of 2 years previous call centre experience in a medical aid/ insurance environment.
? Matric
? RE 5 an advantage but is not essential
? Strong telephone etiquette
? Ability to liaise with external parties
? Ability to work within an established team
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to handle the pressure of difficult clients - always remain calm, friendly, courteous, polite, professional and willing to assist
? A record of confidence dealing with clients
? Excellent analytical skills
? Pays attention to detail
? Computer literate - MS Office a must
