The Medical Aid specialist is a fit and proper professional to take control of the company’s medical aid client base as part of the client relationship team at the company. The job incumbent will have a strong knowledge of various medical aid and gap cover products and coordinate the client lifecycle, from take on, to claims and attending to all client queries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sign on new clients
• Servicing of existing clients
• Medical aid and gap cover reviews annually
• Keep up to date with changes in medical aid and gap cover products
• Coordinating client claims
• Professional liaison with medical aid and gap cover service providers

Qualifications:
• Relevant tertiary qualification from a reputable institution
• Relevant FICA/FAIS professional registration code (if applicable)

Computer Skills:
• MS Word
• MS Excel
• MS PowerPoint
• XPlan or other industry related packages

Skills/Competencies and experience:
• At least 1-3 years of experience in dealing with medical aid and gap cover products
• Experience in Discovery Health and Momentum Medical Aid Products
• Experience in Turnberry Gap cover products
