Offshore and Maritime Medical Director needed asap!

ON-CALL DUTIES
Availability for after hours on-call duties as per the Medical Director on call roster will be required, acting as Medical Director on duty for JHB as well as remotely for SYD as per the roster.
Select and ensure that the appropriate medical team / medical provider is utilised on all transports and that they are fully briefed on both client and medical issues.
Manage/give direction on Road Ambulance Transfers as per the Assistance Centre Ambulance Escalation Procedure.
Ensure due diligence in formulation and approval of all quotations for medical transportations in accordance with billing guidelines.
The CAD/RMD must be contacted as per the CAD procedure on a conference call with the Medical Director when indicated.

Education
MBChB

Independent registration with HPCSA
Occupational health, maritime, or workplace health training

Experience
Completed Internship and community services
Appropriate post tertiary qualification experience in relevant medical field
Appropriate experience in the field of Maritime support and OHSA reporting.
Skills / Knowledge
As per key Competencies for role
Effective leadership qualities
Ability to resolve complaints/challenging cases

Language
Excellent written and spoken English
