A private hospital located in central Cape Town requires a strong ICU Trained Registered Nurse to start ASAP in their 14 bedded Medical ICU ward treating patients with STEMI, congestive heart failure, cardiac chest pain, monitoring, respiratory and metabolic patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• This ICU RN will be dealing with general cases such as Stroke, Diabetes, hypertension, renal Failure etc.
• Nursing care is focused on the assessment,
• Diagnosis, planning, treatment and evaluation of preoperative and post- operative surgical and Medical patients including ECG interpretation, haemodynamic.
• Monitoring, airway management, pain management, medication management, patient/family education and support, and initiation of the rehabilitation process

Applicants for this position must:

• Registered with SANC as a Registered nurse
• Post Basic Diploma in ICU and or have 4/5 ICU experience
• Have clean contactable references
• Have a 4/5 year life span in previous job roles
