A Healthcare Company who is passionate about providing Clinical Care to HIV positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for Medical Officers to join their team.

Key performance areas
• Clinical Management of HIV positive adults, children and adolescents
• Clinical assessments
• Appropriate testing and screening
• Diagnosis
• Prescription of correct treatment
• Counselling
• Research design, implementation and dissemination
• Design and implement research activities
• Produce publications and/or reports relating to research
• District support and capacity building
• Implement a quality improvement approach at facility level
• Coach and train staff members to ensure transfer of knowledge
• Maintain clinical expertise
• Provide technical support on HIV care and treatment to district-based teams
• Assist in the development of referral networks
• Staff management
• Attend to all staffing requirements and administration
• Coach and train subordinates and team members

Education, Training and Experience
• MBBCh degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Health Professions Council of South Africa
• Post community service
• HIV management experience essential
• Diploma in HIV/Aids Management
• Ability to work in a resource constrained environment
• Experience working with donor-funded programmes
• Experience in training and lecturing
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Positive, energetic team leader with an ability to adapt to complex situations
