Merchandise Planner

Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town
Salary: R25k per month negotiable

Fashion Accessories Supplier required a Merchandise Planner for their retail division.

Requirements:
Grade 12/Matric with relevant tertiary qualification
A minimum of 3+ years merchandise planning experience in a retail environment
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills (V lookup, Pivot tables, graphs, complex formulae)

Duties:
Meet/Exceed Sales targets
Develop and manage seasonal product planning, OTB and merchandise strategies.
Optimise Range assortments and replenishments
Manage inventory levels and markdowns
Produce Annual, Quarterly, Monthly and Weekly reporting necessary for informed decision-making
Solid communication with buying, logistics and store merchandising teams
Analyse performance and implement corrective strategies as required
Develop and implement process and system improvements
