Job description
An opportunity has become available within Old Khaki for a confident, energetic and resilient
Merchandise Planner who possesses strong analytical, logical reasoning and the numerical abilities required for Old Khaki Menswear portfolio advertised in adherence to the Cape Union Mart Group standards.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in the planning process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to achieving Turnover, GP & Stock budgets and other KPI’s.
Post Seasonal analysis, Strategic Planning, Range & Assortment Planning.
Budgeting and forecasting in order to maximize sales and profitability.
Stock control and distribution whereby you ensure that the product assortments, volumes and store & product attributes are maximized.
Liaising effectively with stores, suppliers, customers, shipping and marketing
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required:
> 4 years’ experience as a Merchandise Planner within a fashion retail environment
Matric / Gr 12
Relevant tertiary qualification
Microsoft Office proficiency
Reporting systems
Experience in ‘Enterprise Planning’ would be beneficial
