My client, based in Cape Town (CBD), is seeking a Merchandiser for Cape Town and Johannesburg/Pretoria.

The company is a Sales and Distribution Business that supply Italian Niche Market products to the Retail and HORECA Sector all over South Africa.

Job purpose:

Effective and efficient merchandising of products to set standards in order to grow company brands and visibility.
Ensure that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.

Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12
Drivers’ license
Must have OWN transport

Must have at least 3 years’ experience in an FMCG merchandising environment (store to store: not in-store)

English written and verbal essential

Computer Literacy

Salary: R8 000 - R12 000 (depending on experience) + fuel allowance.
