Join an ever-evolving dynamic telecommunications company as their next Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst in the Cape Town Winelands. This Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.



Qualification:

CA (SA) (non-negotiable)

BCom Accounting degree



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 0 - 1 year post article experience

Knowledge of the telecommunications industry will be preferred

Ability to work independently

Ability to work quickly and under pressure

Problem-solving skills

Time management skills

Communication skills (written and verbal)

IFRS, Income Tax Act and Companies Act



Job Description:

Investigate and analyse investment opportunities.

Perform and manage finance / commercial Due Diligence on acquisition target.

Manage HR, Commercial, Operational and Network Due Diligence outcomes.

Prepare and propose deal structure and valuation.

Prepare Investment case for acquisitions.

Prepare Q&A documentation.

Manage the legal and secretarial requirements for the conclusion of the deal.

Manage implementation date.

Handover of target to financial and operational teams.

Post-deal administration (earn-outs).
