Our clients are specialists in recombinant protein production and bioprocess services. Their highly purified recombinant proteins are used in the manufacture of diagnostic test kits for point of care rapid diagnostics and research institutions.

They are looking for a Microbiologist for join their laboratory team. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

• Working in the laboratory
• Taking responsibility for projects
• Troubleshooting at a high level
• Protein production and cloning
• Antibody production

REQUIREMENTS:

PhD in molecular biology/genetics
Experience in molecular biology and bio chemistry
Bacterial experiment systems, antibody production
The ability to follow a recipe in strict details

The ideal candidate has a real passion for laboratory work as this is a hands-on laboratory role not a management position. With the ability to think out of the box and on your feet you are a team player and have the ability to work under pressure.
