PBT Group, BI leaders in South Africa, requires a Senior Microsoft BI Architect for an initial 12-month contract. Must have at least 5 years’ experience in SSAS, OLAP cube and Architecture.

Skills Required
- Must have an in-depth understanding of the Microsoft world and various products
- Sound Experience and understanding of SSAS, OLAP cube and Architecture.
- SQL server v10 and up (5 years’ development and more)
- SQL Analysis services v10 and up (5 years’ development and more)
- MDX development (5 years’ development and more)
- In-depth understanding and be able to develop EXCEL reports from Analysis services cubes
- Have an in-depth understanding and be able to develop in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Sound Experience and understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Excellent knowledge in creating Databases, Tables, Stored Procedures, DDL/DML Triggers, Views, User defined data types, functions, Cursors and Indexes using T-SQL.
- Great ability to create and manage various database objects like tables, views.
- Experience in Data Conversion and Data Migration using SSIS and DTS services across different databases like Oracle, MS access and flat files or any other ETL tool.
- Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Expert in creating Parameterized Reports.
- Hands on experience in Creating Star Schema and Snow Flake Schemas
- Extensively worked on, created and managed OLAP cubes using SSAS. 
- Have understanding of Data mining
