Job description
Highbury Safika Media (Pty) Ltd is seeking to appoint a mid-designer on its business titles. Candidates with magazine design and visual production experience and an interest into digital magazines are preferable. The successful candidate will report to the art director and work within a team environment.

Key duties include:
· Design innovation and visual research.
· Image sourcing/creation relevant to brief/story.
· Compile/interpret briefs.
· Attention to detail in designs.
· Manages own publication and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements.
· Works with art director to develop design solutions.

Requirements
· Two to three year’s relevant experience.
· Degree or diploma in applicable field.
· Knowledge of Adobe CS applications and Mac OS.
· Hardworking.
· Creative thinker.
