CWD Group Job Opening: Mid-level Costing Accountant

Role – Mid level costing accountant
Sector – Shopfitting and manufacturing
Area – Carletonville, West Rand

Experience requirements:

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in cost accounting, budgeting and project costing is required.
• Experience in construction and manufacturing required.
• Experience in variable and fixed costs in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Enterprise Resource Planning Software (Palladium, Sage X3) required.
• Ability to read and analyse site and mechanical / fixture drawings required.
• Strong inventory management skills required.
• BCom Accounting or similar is preferable.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Project and item costing will be primary responsibility.
• Bill of Material costing.
• ERP system management and data input.
• Create and submit weekly management account reports for the Finance Manager.
• You will be involved with the budgets and forecasts process.
• Variance analysis and financial modelling.
• Liaising with the auditors.
• Support with commodity movements and inventory control.
• Provide ad-hoc project support.
• Monitor stock (Net Rebate).
• Gross profit Analysis.
• BoM analysis.

Salary:

R15 000 negotiable depending on prior experience.
