A Linux Operator with a keen interest in Open Source Technologies is wanted for a great company in the CPT South area.
Minimum requirements
• B.Sc. Computer Science or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Min 3-5 years Linux/Open Source experience
• Strong experience with the Redhat / CentOS Linux Operating System
• Familiar with scripting in bash, perl etc
• Exposure to any other Open Source technologies such as asterix, nagios, iptables would be beneficial
• Experience with database management and SQL would be beneficial
Duties:
• Maintenance of Infrastructure and Customer Servers
• Maintenance of mission critical services on servers
• Design and deployment of new systems and services
• Day to day IT/server administration tasks
