Mid and Senior Oracle Developer positions are available with a great company in the Durban area. The client is looking for someone with strong experience in Oracle, leadership characteristics, high sense of urgency and a team player.

Responsibilities:
• Program designs from logical specifications
• Develop & Maintain & Document programs
• Produce logical and physical designs from functional designs for applications
• Make programming changes to correct bugs and ensure high quality
• Software configuration and end user support
• Understand & Interpret technical specifications
• Develop & implement systems
• Complete Object orientated, Database and Conceptual System design
• Providing technical estimates to Project Manager
• Ensure product meets technical requirements of the user
• Manager Quality Assurance, system & User acceptance testing

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree or Diploma in IT Software Development
• 5 years minimum system development experience (For a Senior Position)
• 4 years minimum systems development experience (For intermediate Position)
• Strong Analytical skills using Object Orientation Programming
• Strong Analytical Skills using PL/SQL or similar query language
• Oracle forms, Reports and PL/SQL experience required

Preferable:
• Preference given if candidate comes from a Financial Background
• Preference given to candidate with ADF Training / Experience
• Preference given to candidate with 1 year Java Development / Java Scripting experience
• Preference given to candidate with 1 year Object Oriented design experience
