We are looking for a Mid-tier Engineer for one of our clients, a major ICT company. This particular client of ours has a strong reputation within the industry for offering a quality service. They are now looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join there dynamic team.

This individual will be responsible for providing technical break-fix support to our Internal Network. Support includes strong troubleshooting techniques across a range of both Desktop and Server technologies, as well as having the ability to resolve outstanding tasks within an agreed SLA, and being able to communicate professionally via either Email or telephone as needed. A good understanding of Service Delivery and attention to detail is essential. A strong field Engineer who has obtained the relevant experience below and is now apt to visualise and resolve problems remotely and Onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support to the End User (Desktop) as well as manage the Server Infrastructure
- Keeping all End Users up to date at all times
- Logging of calls and fault tracking, Service Desk services
- Basic cabling and or Network maintenance
- On-going Asset Register maintenance
- Generator and or redundancy power related issues
- Capacity planning

Experience and Skill Requirements:

- Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 – Implement - Configure - Troubleshoot
- Microsoft Windows Desktop XP/7 – Implement - Configure - Troubleshoot
- Exchange 2007/2010 – Implement - Configure - Troubleshoot
- Vmware/HyperV (Host) - Configure - Troubleshoot
- Backup Exec – Implement – Configure and Troubleshoot
- Active Directory – Implement – Migrate – Configure – Troubleshoot
- Mimecast – Knowledge
- Veeam – Knowledge
- Riverbed – Knowledge
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Able to work on own and under pressure
- Good time management and priority
- Have initiative to diagnose problems
- Initiative to find answers to new questions
- Professional working attitude
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing environment.
- Self-motivated and a natural drive to problem solve.

Education/ Qualifications:
- Post-secondary school education, relating to IT
- MCSE Qualification
