Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Middle and High Voltage Technician. You will be responsible for performing challenging, specialized assembly, installation and commissioning operations in medium and high voltage systems. You are active in the Utilities, Infrastructure, Industry and Marine & Offshore divisions for both maintenance and newbuilding projects as a Central and High-tech Technician. Installations of 10kV and 25kV will include the top of the work. The projects we are currently working on include high voltage stations, transformer platforms for offshore and offshore wind farms, hospitals and new building and renovation projects in the oil and gas industry.

Main Functions:

• You will complete the work assignment with diagrams, drawings, instructions and planning in reception, studying and discussing content and operational aspects.
• Orientate yourself on location to the current work situation, perform commissioning and take the necessary measures for hazardous work and avoiding malfunctions (HR tasks),
• Instruct the Mechanics: Give commands and / or instructions and you will be the contact point at the project location.
• You will install (parts of) middle and high voltage installations, including associated installation parts and security.
• Detect fault sources based on measurements and interference. Perform repair and maintenance work during scheduled maintenance.
• You take up the work, consult and decide with work preparation / project management how the work will be done with the right materials and planning.
• Perform visual checks and necessary tests and / or trials.
• Commission equipment / installations and (delivers) the transfer to the client.
• Responsible for conducting measurements and inspections of central and high voltage installations at our customers in order to establish a safe operation or to establish a maintenance plan.
• Responsible for adjusting and adjusting and performing measurements to the high voltage installations.
• You set up work and control reports.
• Register changes and material usage.

Requirements:

• Intermediate Vocational Education towards Electrical Engineering;
• Experience with and knowledge of medium and high voltage projects;
• Known with the measuring equipment of high voltage installations;
• Good understanding of the Dutch or Afrikaans language
• In possession of driving license B
• Knowledge of NEN3840 is a pre
• Educated to IV and WV (according to Stipel) is a pre.
