A proudly South African Specialized Debt Management and Metering Infrastructure company requires the services of a Mikros Project Manager.
Role and Responsibilities:
Apply professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance/specification risks to ensure satisfied customers. This role has ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and SLAs. Also manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and others aspects of a project.

Competencies
Tender for and win suitable projects & SLA contracts (or renegotiate)
Manage projects to conclusion (schedule, cost, scope/specification)
Manage SLA contracts
Manage project and construction team
Manage the Maintenance & Development of the Trafcon software suite
Identify and trial new technology solutions/building blocks
Form part of MTM management team (tactical and strategic leadership)
Cost effective allocation and use of company resources
Successfully deliver projects based on time, cost & specification (to ensure adherence to all set project budgets)
Win tenders to sustain and grow project business
Project planning, delivery and profitability (highlight project delays/problems/critical issues timeously)
Monthly external reporting (progress reports, SLA reports, etc.)
Monthly internal reporting (payment certificates, timesheets)
Manage personnel (appraisals, training, expenses, cellphones, recruitment)
Build, manage and maintain customer relationships
Ensure that work standard meet company’s specification
Construction & maintenance of Mikros data contract sites (response, quality)
Qualifications:
Grade 12 with maths & science
Technical degree/diploma (civil or electronic/electrical)
Relevant Project Management certification
Systems (electronic) engineering training a prerequisite
Team leadership training
Financial coursework
Experience:
3 – 5 years relevant project experience in a technical environment
3 years’ experience as a Project Manager (actual delivery of integration projects)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the vehicle overload control industry and/or Transport Engineering
Minimum 2 years System (electronic) engineering experience
Tender submission experience (at least 3 large tenders – R3M - R15M)
MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Projects, Visio)
Clear understanding of managing operations
Good interpersonal skills
Strong coordination, organization, planning and report writing skills.
Proven project management skills, including planning and report writing skills
Ability to adhere to strict quality standards
Hands-on approach
