Responsible for the efficient mechanical and electrical installation as well as for Maintenance, Fault Finding and Breakdowns on fast moving production machines, with in a world class working environment.
 
Responsible for the good engineering practices and complying to the appropriate safety standards and relevant codes of practice
 
Liaises with suppliers regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, critical spares and new technology
Ensures GMP, EHS and Quality requirements are met in the area of responsibility
Actively participates in the identification and implementation of continuous improvements initiatives.
Provide Operational support by Operating machines in absence of the operator if required
Executes sound documentation practices as per Engineering CMMS requirements, Quality compliance and EHS Compliance permits and standards
Leads, support and drives continuous improvement and OEE initiatives.
Ensures that all EHS Standards are met
Assists Engineering management with various Engineering projects


Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:
 
Red Seal Millwright trade test Certificate
Recognized Engineering qualification.
Instrumentation/Automation / SCADA Systems/ PLC / HMI (advantage)
Minimum 5 years experience gained in a FMCG or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment essential.
Experience with Boilers, Air Compressors, HVAC essential.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer literate
