MILLWRIGHT (OVERHEAD CRANES), MIDDELBURG, RNEG+BEN

TRADE TEST MILLWRIGHT + 2 YEARS EXP IN OVERHEAD CRANES (PHYSICAL FIT & ABLE TO HANDLE HEIGHTS) + FRONT LINE MAINTENANCE ON CRANES + HEAVY INDUSTRIAL MACHINES + PLC + AC/DC DRIVERS + HYDRAULICS & PNEUMATICS.

Education & Experience :
Std 10 or N3 with Maths and Science and a valid National Trade Certificate
Be self-motivated and able to work independently
Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Millwright on cranes
Ability to do front line maintenance on breakdown basis
Need to be skillful and thorough in faultfinding
Need to be physically fit.
Display high levels of energy, initiative and communicate effectively at all levels.
Experience on the following will be required :
Heavy industrial mechanics
PLC's
AC/DC drives
Overhead Cranes
Hydraulics
Pneumatics

As a Millwright you will be responsible for the following :
Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, leadership ability and high tolerance for pressure..
Be willing to work a 3-shift system.
Have plant engineering maintenance experience.
Maintain standards in the plant and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Must be flexible to perform the multi-skilled duties, work overtime when needed.
Daily plant checks, preventative maintenance in mechanical/electrical/C&I fields to ensure high equipment availability
Be able to work without supervision.
Market related remuneration package will be offered. Excellent benefits include a monthly production incentive, 60% company contribution towards medical aid and 10.6% contribution to Pension fund; Group life coverage, Funeral cover, 20 - 30 days leave, subsidized meals and Friday work hours only until 14h00 where applicable.
You will have the option of CLIENT paying the cost of removing your household effects to Middelburg and you will have the option to receive a settling in allowance equal to one month's basic salary (where applicable).
