MILLWRIGHT (SECTION 13) , SABIE, RNEG+BEN

: • Qualified Millwright (Section 13/26D)
Work Experience:
• At least 3-5 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with lubrication, conveyors, rolling elements, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience with PLC’s, soft starters and drives
• Experience in the saw milling industry will be an advantage
Other: • Independent, quick worker and energetic
• Able to cope effectively with work pressures
• Willing to work according to a shift system

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant assets at Sabie Site in an efficient and safe manner to ensure maximum plant availability.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Fault finding and maintenance on the on all types of electrical equipment
• Planned maintenance on mechanical equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Carry out scheduled inspections and planned tasks
• Liaise with production team with regards to equipment malfunction and or breakdowns
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices
