Our client requires the services of a qualified Millwright.

Key performance areas:

? Normal preventative maintenance on equipment.
? Repairs on breakdowns.
? Day to day problem solving and recommendations on machinery and equipment in use.
? Responsible for the UHT Fillers and packing machines maintenance and performance (OEE, OPP)
? Inspect and test equipment as per prescribed ELKE schedule
? Determine causes of failures (fault finding)
? Increase machine availability
? Maintain and repair instrumentation, process control equipment and automation systems
? Optimise control systems regarding processes and production lines
? Provide technical and specialist support
? Ensure that all process control software is backed up and kept up to date
? Perform standby duties
? Perform preventative maintenance
? Complete job cards and update records

The successful candidate must have:

? Grade 12 with a N4 qualification: Millwright or an Electrician with mechanical skills or a Fitter with electrical skills
? Proven post trade test experience
? Proven packaging experience in the FMCG environment
? Tetra packaging experience will be an advantage
? Must be prepared to work overtime, weekends, public holidays and shifts when required
? Must be prepared to do standby
? Ability to work independently
? Good interpersonal skills
