Employers Requirements:

-Replacement of electrical and mechanical components

-Installation of panels and motors, light circuits, plug circuits strip and connect of electrical cables.

-Replacing of electrical motors and bearings

-Identification and use of hand tools and measuring instrument tester

-Read electrical drawings

-Maintenance of motors, heaters, panels, elements and on electrical machines

-Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs

-Fault diagnosis and testing on a variety of panels and electrical cables followed by corrective actions

-Connecting electrical cables, star and delta motor etc.

-Weekly reports

-Work off maintenance plan

-Attend to unscheduled break downs


Additional functions:

*Identify and procure spare parts

*Maintain spare parts


Experience:

-Grade 12

-N3 Qualification

-Section 13 Millwright Trade Test – Manpower Act of 1981

-Electrics/Fitter experience

-Computer Literate

-Min 4 years’ experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment as part of maintenance

-Fluent in English and Afrikaans

-Work independently and a part of a team

-Production industry background
