Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Trade tested Millwright
- Minimum 3 to 5 years plant maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical & mechanical repairs and general engineering and machining
- Knowledge of compressors, press and pumps
- Ability to perform various types of welding (arc, gas and manual)
- Basic health and safety knowledge
- Ability to read and understand technical and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of single and 3 phase electrical equipment
- Ability to build and repair electrical circuits
- Understanding programming and faultfinding on PLC's
- Knowledge of production process, press plant, tool room and jigs
- PC and networking skills
- Knowledge of robots, robotic cells, laser cells and robot programming
- Working knowledge of a paint plant
- Willing to work shifts, overtime and to assist at the East London branch when needed

Responsibilities:
- Performing routine and planned machine maintenance
- Identify and respond to safety hazards
- Selecting, using and maintaining various tools
- Perform breakdown maintenance operations
- Compile and maintaining machine history records
- Ensure that electrical equipment and machinery repair schedules are met
- Diagnose breakdown problems
- Maintain critical spares for various robots and controllers
- Ensure that all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment is in good working knowledge order through the implementation and control of a
MP2 program
- Management of the allocated maintenance budget
