A medium sized food and beverage manufacturing company situated in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their maintenance team. This company is one of South Africa’s oldest FMCG companies and has been operational for more than five decades. The company also remunerates its maintenance staff according to their performance rather than experience.

Qualification:
Trade Test: Millwright (Red Seal) – Section 13

Skills & Experience:
Electro – Mechanical maintenance on AC/DC drives, conveyors, transmitters, valves, rackers, packers, wrappers and pneumatics
Siemens S7 PLC maintenance and programming
Electro – mechanical preventative maintenance planning
Perform standby and work shifts
Perform daily checks and routine inspections of electrical equipment (including transformers, switchgear, and service equipment)
4 – 6 years FMCG experience

Job Description:
You will be working alongside the Maintenance Manager, attend to breakdowns, and perform electro - mechanical fault finding on baggers, slicers, dividers, packers, stackers and moulders. Siemens S7 PLC programming experience will be to your advantage. You will also be working shifts.
