Our client is looking for a Millwright in the Bloemfontein area.

Requirements:

• Qualified Millwright with AT LEAST N3, preferrably N4
• No Railway qualified Millwrights
• Millwright should be strong Electrical and not be stronger in the Mechanical aspects of his work
• Servo drives / Inverters Verispeeds: Any make or model - Must be able to install and program parameter settings
• Electrical diagram: Very important: Must be able to read and understand with quick fault finding
• Must have own full set of basic hand tools for a  Millwright
• PLC knowledge: Siemens S7 - Basic hardware knowledge and faultfinding
• Programming knowledge and experience will be advantageous
• Scada system (Wonderware) - Must be familiar with it

Duties:

• Assemble, install, test and maintain any mechanical and electrical equipment
• Inspect and test equipment as per prescribed ELKE schedule
• Determine causes of failures (fault finding)
• Ensure plant reliability
• Maintain and repair process, packaging and services equipment
• Optimise control system regarding processes and production lines
• Freon cooling and / or ammonia cooling will be advantageous
• Maintenance of Atlas Copco light compressors - any size - will be advantageous
• Maintenance of Ammonia compressors (GEA, Grasso en Graham) - any size will be advantageous
• Boiler experience: Basic knowledge and experience on John Thomson Boilers
• 3-5 years dairy factory experience will be advantageous
• Experience working with pumps and packaging machines
• Wireman's license will be advantageous

KPAs:

• Fault finding and breakdown / emergency repairs
• Technical support and advice to all maintemance and production teams
• Analysis of machine condition and past preformance to optimize a pro-active maintenance approach
• Assistance with machine changeover and start-ups
• Will be required to perform both mechanical and electrical duties
