Our Client in the Plastic Industry is looking for a Millwright in Durban

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that all maintenance activities planned or unplanned are performed in an optimized way.
The aim to ensure plant machine availability and minimize severity of potential unplanned failures.
The incumbent in the position must take great safety precaution while conduction his duty and working with tools and spare parts.
Will be working on robotic systems.
Fault finding and repair of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
Do conversions on robots from one product to another.
Adjusting PLC programs to optimal performance.
Servicing of robot systems.
Reduction of scrap and set-up time on all robots as well as optimization of all robots.
Standby/ Call outs and weekends work when required.
Develop and implementation of CMMS (computerized maintenance management of systems).

Key Requirements
Knowledge in injection molding machine.
N4/5 Min qualification, Millwright/Fitter Trade tested incumbent
Minimum of 5 years as certified Millwright/Fitter in a factory, Plastics industrial experience will be advantageous.
Minimum 5 years-experience working with hydraulics or similar equipment’s.
Samtrac or Similar qualifications.
Computer literate.
