We are looking for a Trade Tested Millwright to attend to all factory maintenance. Previous work experience in a factory environment essential.

Core responsibilities will primarily consist of the following:

Perform emergency repairs for electrical and mechanical breakdowns on CNC Machinery, Lathes, Milling machines, etc.
All preventative and normal maintenance work
Organizing external contractors for repair work to grinders, hydraulic cylinders & cranes etc
Correct various electrical faults on plant machinery and equipment to ensure product continuity
Analyses programmable logic controller programs for the purpose of fault finding on plant and machinery
Conduct and record mandatory inspections in accordance with OSH Act and NOSA Safety requirements
Perform preventative maintenance schedules on plant machinery and equipment
Record results of all breakdowns, failure modes, root cause, work done and prevention
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics required
