§ National Certificate Engineering Studies N2
§ Section 13 Boilermaker Trade Certificate NQF 3
§ Computer Literacy
§ 3 to 4 years Boilermaker experience

ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT WILL REPORT TO THE SUPERVISOR:
MECHANICAL AND THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
§ Ensure effective maintenance administration.
§ Provide boilermaker manufacturing, installation, repairs / replacement / maintenance services and administration.
§ Equipment is maintained at all times and defects reported to the relevant Manager.
§ Ensure effective teamwork by establishing interaction between members.
§ Compile work priority list and resource requirements; accurate shift and work order reports; and communicate resource requirements.
§ Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports; allocated work orders sign-off; job cards and description of work and spares
used; role administration requirements completed and communicated; planned maintenance schedules and ad hoc reports.
§ Maintain relations with internal customers to ensure departmental needs are met and colleagues are satisfied.
§ Provide relevant and specialised technical support to applicable stakeholders.
§ Provide relevant and specialised technical support to applicable stakeholders.
§ Enhance safety awareness throughout working area.
§ Ensure working area and equipment is clean and safe at all times and in good working condition.
§ Ensure and comply with safety standards guidelines, policies and procedures.
§ PPE is worn during shift and safety rules and regulations adhered to.
§ Declaration of safe working place.
§ Ensure housekeeping principles are adhered to.
