Chamber of MINE SURVEY DRAUGHTING CERTIFICATE + Chamber of MINE ELEMENTARY SURVEY CERTIFICATE + EXP MICROSTATION CADD + M24D + SURPAC (NOT NEGOTIABLE),

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Conduct and participate in Mine Planning and Survey meetings
• Transfer and update surveyed data into Microstation. Digitise all older versions of maps and plans onto Microstation-CADD
(Old Workings)
• Update all Legal underground and surface mine plans in compliance with requirements of the MHSA
• Create and maintain digital plans of the entire mine on Microstation. This includes creating 3D Models and manipulating this
data to be compatible with M24D and Auto Cad systems
• Compile and assist with short term development mine designs and schedules, updating actual face advances achieved on both
mine plans and relevant reports
• Produce ad hoc plans and layouts: e.g. area of responsibility plans, mining layouts and rehabilitation plans for land
management as requested by business unit partners (Mining, Environmental, Plant and Legal)
• Compile and assist with the execution of the Mine Business plan reports (Mining Right diagrams, resource and reserve footprint
layouts)
• Perform relevant co-ordinate transformations in systems such as Surpac for accurate plotting of spatial information on mine
planning designs and legal on-mine layouts for both surface and underground infrastructure
• Manipulate and process aerial surveyed data for environmental bill of quantities, Mine section profile and volumetric analysis

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Chamber of Mines Survey Draughting Certificate
• Chamber of Mines Elementary Survey Certificate
• Computer literacy (Microstation-Cadd, M24D, Surpac)
• Minimum 5 years related experience
• Valid drivers’ license (Code EB/08)
