PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage all mining activities at Bokone Shaft

JOB SPECIFICATION
Analyse the area’s financial needs in order to integrate discipline and financial requirements to ensure sufficient financial resources according to the organizational strategy
Implement mining strategy within area of responsibility
Undertake short, medium and long-term forecasts to meet the objectives of the mine
Ensure adherence to the organization’s SHEQ management programs and policies
Manage resource allocation to ensure effective staffing levels and utilization according to company’s needs
Manage stakeholders by coordinating the implementation of projects and service level agreements

REQUIREMENTS
BSC Mining or any related qualification
Mine Manager’s certificate of competency
NHD
10 years underground and open-cast mining experience and prior management exposure
Proven track record of operating safe and productive mining operations
Good knowledge of project management, strategic planning as well as financial management
Computer Literacy
