KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SHERQ: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations (Mining Specific)
Management and control of Plant and equipment
Development and management of budgets (Cost Control)
Leadership and management of employees – discipline, performance counselling; conflict management; etc.
Management and control of suppliers, parts and components on and off site
Ensuring that equipment complies with and operates to the designed capacity with quality service, maintenance and repairs, and complies with the KPI’s set out by the company
Client and production interface and head office alignment
Ensuring efficiency of operational systems to ensure maximum support to key customers

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
Trade Test (Mechanic) – Section 13 or 26.1;
Managerial qualification will be an advantage.
5 Years managerial experience related to open-cast mining equipment
Core competencies, skills and abilities • Sound written and verbal communication, presentation and reporting skills.
Computer Literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong business administrative skills.
