Mine Senior Surveyor - 1 year contract- outside of Gauteng
Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (RSA)
Registered as a member with IMSSA
Tertiary qualification in Mine Survey
Microsoft office (Excel ,Word and PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Mine surveying with at least 4 years in a Senior Surveying position
Valid C driver’s license
TerraScan Modelling software knowledge an advantage
Knowledge of Mine Design and Optimisation Software
Geological Modelling software an advantage
Supplying management with efficient and effective survey services, surface monitoring and control, in addition to pollution, architectural, civil engineering and management services to facilitate management of all resources.
Ensure the effective management of ore reserve and resources
Implement latest survey methods and equipment to improve survey function
Liaise with DMR, DWF and other local and government authorities as
Manage the Survey services section by ensuring correct surveying protocol, processes and use of resources to eg. Compile resource reserve statements, quantify and declare resource reserve depletion etc.
Must be prepared to relocate
R55 000- R60 000 plus negotiable
