company based in Thabazimbi is looking for permanent candidates for Miner & Blasting Assistant

The successful applicants will report to the Shift Overseer
Minimum requirements ;

Grade 10 certificate
Certificate Blasting for scheduled Mines and Hard Rock Underground
At least 2 years trackless mining experience
Code 08 EB drivers license and own transport
Be prepared to work production shifts

Advantage Requirements ;
Competent A,B and Blasting Assistance
At least 2 years mining experience

Duties ;

Chapter 8 and 9 legal appointment in terms of the Mine Health & Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996)
Creating a safe work area
Installing permanent and temporary support
Face preparation, marking and drilling
Being responsible for drilling and Blasting operations
Accident/Incident investigation operations
Ensuring adherence to shift procedures and preparations
