A well established mine is currently recruiting for a Miner In the Northern Cape area

Purpose of the position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for: trackless mining, production, drilling, charging, blasting,

support work and the safety of employees

Must have the following minimum requirements;

• Grade 10
• Permanent Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines / Underground Hard Rock Level 3 Certificate of Competency
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Miner
• Supervisory experience
• Valid drivers’ license

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Achieve production targets
• Declare working area safe and perform Planned Task Observations / Risk Assessments
• Ensure personal and co-workers adherence and compliance to Security and Company’s SHE objectives
• Work according to the Mine’s Code of Practice and report any observations of this not being done
• Work shifts, overtime, do standby and be available for call-outs
