Our client, a leading Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Mineral Resources Administrator (Ground Penetrating Radar) at their facility in Mooinooi near Rustenburg in the North West Province.

Purpose of the Job:
To plot all major geological structures observed and scanned by the GPR crews on the electronic Survey Plans and to update the Fall of Ground Databases for all the WCM Mining Sections.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12
At least 2 years’ experience working in MRM department with relevant qualifications.
Basic Drafting Skills
Proficiency in basic Plan Reading and basic Excel Spreadsheets

Collect the relevant data from the Strata Control Officers
Identify all the major geological structures from the data lists
Plot all major geological structures on the electronic Survey Plans
Update the Fall of Ground Data bases from the info observed underground
List any pillar mining
List all panel lengths exceed the planned panel lengths
Assist the Strata Control Officer with compiling/scanning/filing basic GPR Reports
