Job Description

Administrate and to provide design inputs for mineral resources drawings and mineral and prospecting rights applications
Participating and complying with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
Ensuring customer satisfaction
Measuring, plotting and interpreting area measurements within an underground workplace
Providing and maintaining two-dimensional CAD drawings for mineral resources
Converting geological information into CAD format
Locating a surface geographical position by employing map-reading techniques
Reading of surface mining plans
Maintaining the filing and drawing system
Updating DMR plans according to the requirements in Chapter 17 of the mine health and safety act 1996.
Maintaining health, safety and security in the internal environment
Conducting drawing office administration
Mineral Resources general administration
Controlling drawing updates and version control
Maintaining stationery and office supply levels
Scanning mineral resources reports
Processing of mineral resources invoices
Operation of the CAD and SAP system

Minimum Requirements

General Draughting National Certificate
Relevant Degree or National Diploma
5 year’s relevant experience
1 year supervisory experience
Must have a valid driver’s license
