? Perform Technical Safety Assessments of mining and minerals processing facilities and other nuclear activities
? Provide scientific and technical services necessary to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of hazard assessments and other safety submissions from mining and minerals processing facilities
? Development and utilisation of tools including computer codes and calculation methodologies during review and assessment work
? Identifying sources of technical information related to specific disciplines and relevant work
? Review international standards, and advise management of relevance to the Company
? Evaluate changes in terms of codes and standards and make decision based on facts to ensure nuclear safety
? Must be able to conduct research and development work relating to area of work
? Knowledge of underground mine ventilation
? Knowledge / application of computer and analytical tools
? Safety assessment knowledge and radiation protection knowledge
