• Grade 12 / N3
• B-Tech Degree in Mining Engineering (Required)
• GCC (Government Certificate of Competence)
• Mine Manager Certificate
• 2 years Supervisory experience
• 6 years Mine Engineering and related Operations Experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Computer Literate
• System Skills: MS Office, SHERQ Systems, Electronic Document Management Systems, Learner Management Systems
• Be able to apply Engineering Principles and Theories

Duties:
• Business intelligence and trend analyzes
• Functional process optimization
• Provide strategic functional direction
• Promote statutory compliance
• Plan, implement, control and monitor approved changes
• Interpret mining operational plan and production results
• Implement operations effectiveness model and practice
• Provide input into functional planning
• Remain up to date with micro- and macro-economic conditions
• Analyze production asset performance trends against required objectives, implement corrective actions where required
• Implement cost control systems
• Internal and external stakeholder relations
• Provide highly specialized support to various stakeholders
• Participate in and contribute to the workforce planning process
