Our client based in Angola are currently seeking a Mining Foreman with 3 - 5 Year with Open Cast Mining experience


Position: Mining Foreman
• Qualifications: High School Leaving Certificate i.e. Matric or GCSE as well as a Tertiary Qualification i.e. Diploma/Degree (ND,HND, BEng, BSc) Mining
• Experience: 3-5 Years supervisory experience in large scale opencast mining operations where Large Bull Dozer’s, ADT’s and Excavators are Deployed. Alluvial diamond experience would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
• Contract : Single Status Annual Contract Renewable annually by mutual agreement to a maximum of 5 years.
• Language Skills: Encumbent should be proficient in English an have a basic understanding of Portuguese as this would be advantagous.
• Other Competencies: Computer Literate i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, conversant with HSE General Principles, Blasting Certificate an advantage but not a pre-requisite, be a self starter self motivated with good communication and organisational skills.
• General Competencies: Previous Expatriate working experience in a remote and isolated environment an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
