Our client in Stellenbosch is looking for a Mining Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

Technical Qualification (Electrical / Electronic)

Ability to coach and train on technical systems

Ability to ownership of the team’s performance

Leadership and management experience a wish

High levels of system understanding; hardware and software

High level of Local Area Network (LAN) knowledge

High level of Linux and Windows operating system knowledge

Good interpersonal skills to relate to clients and team

Proficient in MS Office packages

Must be physically fit and able to travel and perform duties under mine site conditions and requirements on occasion as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Management of technical maintenance, support and call centre functions

Set up of performance agreements and manage team performance and deliverables accordingly

Conduct annual performance appraisals

Manage team KPI’s

Oversee daily call centre meetings

Assist in scheduling of technician maintenance work

Assist in planning of training activities and courses for technician team

Ensure safety, health, environmental and quality protocols and systems are adhered to

Technical consult to the technician team

Act in a higher position when needed

Any Ad-Hoc tasks as required by the position

Salary R194 175 p.a
