Our client, a leading Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced and skilled Mining Operator LHD for their facility in Mooinooi in the North West Province.

Purpose of the Job:
Operate assigned mobile equipment optimally to ensure the attainment of production targets according to the production plan.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 10/N1
Drivers Licence (Road Transport)
LHD Certificate of Competence
Competent B Training
Dover Testing
Certificate of Fitness

Job Responsibilities:
Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox);
Ensure Customer Satisfaction;
Operate mobile equipment in an operational area according to production and vehicle requirements;
Maintain roadways by clearing away any obstruction or spillages;
Comply to FRCP protocols;
Lubrication of equipment according to equipment and engineering standards;
Report any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor and ensure recording on checklist;
Re-fuelling of mobile equipment;
Testing of brake system and complete checklist;
Loads and off-loads materials, parts and personnel onto and from transport cassette or other vehicles, as required;
Ensure the safety of people transported and securing of materials transported;
Performs general housekeeping duties according to departmental requirements, including washing of machines;
Participate and perform risk assessments and audits.
