South Africa Minor Metals Mineral Processing & Smelting - Cobalt for Global Assignments 2018

TRU Group seeks a technical engineering experts in all aspects of mineral processing for the production of minor metals such as cobalt (especially), magnesium, platinum, rare earth minerals, spodumene/lithium etc. A typical assignment would be the front-end engineering design of the process and preparation of a solid engineering-package for the client. However, assignments are diverse and you need to have the expertise to determine the state of the equipment for existing operations and how efficient the plant process from ore through final metal product. Applicant should likely be a chemical/ materials/ metal or minerals processing engineer (or mechanical) graduate with several years direct hands on engineering or operations experience in the mining, metals and smelting of these minor niche metals. Our projects are already ongoing - globally, including Africa - so the requirement is immediate. This is a contract-based immediate but ongoing consulting position but a visit to various plants globally may sometimes be obligatory. Professional Designation an advantage!
