My client, an International Online Gambling company, based in Century City, is seeking to employ a Mobile Application Developer to join their Software Development team. They are seeking innovative thinking candidates that are able to take initiative and responsibility.
The role entails working on a wide range of products including iOS, Android and Web. Ideal candidate needs to be on an Intermediate – Senior Level

Core Competency Requirements:

• Proven experience in mobile development: Android and iOS (other platforms advantageous)
• Native development experience on and  for iOS / Android
• Experience integrating apps with Web API’s
• Experience in design and development of API’s to serve applications
• Strong grasp of design patterns and modern software design principles
• Strong OOP skills
• Strong Database design skills
• Experience in developing and releasing consumer handset applications in a commercial environment
• Familiar with mobile web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript

 
Advantageous Experience:

• Experience in .Net development using C#
• Very strong Android skills
• Experience with API Security
• Understanding of Agile processes for software development
• Experience with high transactional, high availability systems
• Continuous integration
• Unit Testing

 
Minimum Requirements: 

• 4 – 6 years’ work experience and knowledge of systems analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies
• Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
• Tertiary qualification
• Drivers’ licence and own transport

 
Duties:

• Build and maintain native apps, with strong focus on Android and iOS
• Build and maintain back-end services related to applications
• Application design, development and testing
• Application maintenance and fault resolution
• Full life-cycle development, including technical documentation
• Continuous contribution to enhance team knowledge base
