2. Work output description
2.1 Identify business opportunities:
? Interaction with local community, etc
? Obtain and analyse the procurement chain
? Scout local initiatives
2.2 General Walk-in-centre management:
? Planning tours
? Setting budgets and targets for tours
? Holding workshops for entrepreneurs
2.3 Assistance to entrepreneurs:
? Engage with entrepreneurs in the communities
? Assist potential entrepreneurs with business plans, general management advice, registrations, legal and governance issues, etc.
Key requirements
It is essential that the individual be passionate about the development and support of small business. As the Mobile Walk-in-centre Manager you will be in different communities rather than at MEDO head office, self-discipline and self-management are essential qualities. Must be willing to travel for 3 weeks in a month.
