Description: A company that provides products and services to biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular- and cellular biology industries requires a Biotechnology Internal Sales Administrator. The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will be to: Provide customers with day to day quotations on behalf of colleagues and for your own customers/product lines; Process Customer Orders; Make active sales calls on a daily basis: Achieve call targets set: Includes sales calls, profiling, project calls, Active customer care, comprising: Technical sales advice to customers, customer profiling, processing of customer orders, following up on customer queries; Provide Technical Support for customers; Provide product comparisons with competitor’s products for conversions to our products; Perform demonstrations and seminars; Convey leads for other departments to the relevant colleagues; Follow up on all quotations sent out and enquiries received, in order to maximize sales potential; Conduct Sales Analysis for fellow colleagues and as requested by Divisional Manager/Sales Director; Assist with importation permit applications and follow-up.

Key Requirements: Relevant Scientific Degree: preferably B.Sc. (Hons.) or higher in one of the Biological Sciences. Practical experience with Molecular biology (PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR), Protein research (Lysis, Protein assays, Western Blotting) or Tissue culture. Excellent computer skills. Driver’s licence, own transport and a valid passport is required. The candidate must be able to travel locally and abroad. Only South African citizens need to apply.

Additional Requirements: Fluent in English and must be able to understand Afrikaans. Good problem solving skills, dedicated, willing to work overtime. Very good interpersonal skills are required. Candidate should not live farther than 20 km from Randburg or be willing to relocate. The candidate will need to attend Sales Training for 8 weeks (once a week for 3 hours).
Remuneration: Market related.
