RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER (SOCIAL WORK INDUSTRY) for a national NGO concern – position based in Pinetown.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet).
English / Zulu speaking.
Valid driver’s license, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively. ESSENTIAL!
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Social Science/Public Health or related discipline.
2yrs+ specific monitoring and evaluating related work experience in the health and social development sectors required, experience with HIV/AIDS preferred.
Experience in the implementation and management of monitoring and evaluation systems involving capacity building for field staff and monitoring and promotion of data quality.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with bilateral and multilateral donor monitoring and evaluating reporting requirements preferred
Proven ability to work as a team member with multidisciplinary teams.

DUTIES
Ensure accurate collection, capturing and reporting of programmatic data by company’s implementing partners.
Conduct onsite data verification at the company’s implementing partners.
Conduct monitoring and evaluation visits to provide monitoring and evaluation related training and mentorship for the company’s implementing partners and the company’s programme staff.
Consolidate and analyse information related to programmatic activities across the company’s implementing partners at the programmatic and provincial levels.
Ensure enhanced data use to inform programme improvements.
Assist in preparation of monitoring and evaluation sections of reports to donors and other stakeholders.
Provide other monitoring and evaluation related guidance and assistance required in support of the company’s programmes.
