MRO Buyer reporting to the Procurement Manager.

Job Summary:
- Procure operations items - maintenance repair, operating supplies (MRO), capital goods and services
- All aspects of purchasing, including vendor sourcing, selection, negotiations and evaluation
- Order entry and placement, expediting and processing return of such items
- Client liaison
- Locate sources of supply
- Keep up to date on market fluctuations and new product developments
- Assess and evaluate suppliers, inventory of parts ans supplies

Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Procurement
- 5 to 8 years experience of purchasing within a technical/specialised scope of goods
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- SAP experience would be a competative advantage
