Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :

Placing purchase orders
Ensure establishment, placing, monitoring and controlling of purchase requirements
Maintaining relationships with supplier and customers
Strive for professional competence
Ensuring competitive pricing and implementing cost savings
Implementing and adhering to purchasing policies and procedures
Workplace improvement
Ensure that materials are delivered according to the order
Perform daily expediting
Collate invoices, delivery notes for payment and resolve all differences
Monitor material replenishment program on SAP
Obtain quoted for all MRO purchases
Actively take part in team meetings

Essential requirements :

Relevant procurement/purchasing qualification
At least 1-2 years working experience
Experience in maintenance, repairs and operational purchasing essential requirement
Working knowledge of SAP R/3 and the MS Office suite
Excellent numerical skills
Must be meticulous and display attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills to ensure task completion
Negotiating skills
